Ron Noble, the hero

Twenty years ago, fire fighter Ron Noble’s father died while rescuing a ten-year-old girl from a fire at Carlyle House. But the heroic deed was shadowed by rumors that he’d started that fire and a few more before it.

Now, Ron receives new evidence that could clear his father’s name, and the one person who can confirm it is the girl his father had rescued. Unfortunately, the girl has become a beautiful temptress who is determined to make things very difficult for him.

Ashley Satchel, the heroine

Ashley Satchel is finally going to fulfill her parent’s dream of starting a commune for artists. She can’t believe her luck when Carlyle House, the very house her parents had chosen, is up for sale.
