A little Something from me
Here's where you get the list of those wonderful websites writers like us need to write a splendid story. I'm talking about the many "HOW TO" articles that makes writing just a little easier--how to make the perfect pitch, how to write a synopsis, how to write a romance story in 30 days...I'm kidding. It takes dedication and love for the written word to give birth to two characters destined to meet and fall in love, but allow conflicts-internal and external-to get in their way. And if you're really really lucky, they let you inside their heads and understand their motives, goals, and what makes them tick. Then you can write their story as they journey through the triumphs and heartache of finding true love. Of course, this means you need time and space to dedicate to your craft. Hopefully you don't have you're-not-playing-with -us-anymore-mom munchkins demanding your time, or you've-been-so-absentminded-lately boss looking over your shoulder, threatening to dock your pay or reduce your work, or hey-honey-you-don't-come-to-bed-until-four-in-the-morning moments with your own hero and better half. So I've made it easier on you and compiled these wonderful websites. If a link doesn't work or you know of one more I should add to it, e-mail me. Here's a very interesting website with a breakdown of the advances most publishers pay their authors. SHOW ME THE MONEY Or one with free Writing contests Avon fanlit Happy writing Ednah Walters
